Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The speed is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the detail that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your decision.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
